WHP’s collaboration with Fabric Live headlined by Andy C sells out, plus Afterlife proves a huge draw for crowds and DJs alike
Foals: 30/12/11, WHP11 series continues weekly until from now until 01/01/2012
Store Street, Manchester
The bill for 30th December 2011 at WHP11, headlined by indie favourites Foals, is now complete with the critically acclaimed Tom Vek, Manchester newcomers Stay+ and chillwave solo artist Chad Valley joining the live lineup. Furthermore Friendly Fires (DJ Set) and Jackmaster return to Store Street’s decks for a special pre-New Year show. Afterlife, The Warehouse Project’s official aftershow party held at South every Friday and Saturday from 3:30am has also gone from strength to strength this year. A new addition for 2011 the parties have been repeatedly packed out,
not only by The Warehouse Project’s most dedicated customers continuing their nights out, but also with WHP11
Annie Mac, Jackbeats, The 2 bears, Tiefschwarz, MANDY, Benoit & Sergio, Alexis Rafael and Richie Ahmed have all put in ‘double shifts’ by spinning tunes not only for their Store Street sets but also with impulsive additional appearances at Afterlife. These sets are often spontaneous happenings inspired by the feverous atmosphere of the WHP11 series, yet another reason to party well into the night at Afterlife at South as The Warehouse Project celebrates ‘The End of Store Street’.
