The Warehouse Project
8th April 2012
The precise location will remain under wraps until the morning of 22nd March but we can safely say that despite rumours of a move to London, WHP will be staying in Manchester.
The new space is however a departure from what went before. We know Store Street will always have a special place in peoples hearts but The Warehouse Project was started with a genuine desire to keep evolving and not stand still. The change is of course a big one and a huge risk – we go into it knowing that there are all kinds of unknown challenges ahead.
As the curtain came down on WHP11 in the early hours of January 2nd, on the afternoon of April 8th the setting for next chapter will be revealed. This Easter Sunday The Warehouse Project showcases the new venue for 2012, with a marathon day and night house and techno event. After all, it took five years of tweaking and refining to turn Store Street into what it was and we are at the start of that process again. But what lies ahead is very exciting.
